1 Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Search queries: Song names, mood descriptions, and Spotify playlist URLs you enter into the App. These are sent to our server to generate recommendations and are not stored permanently.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device identifiers: Standard identifiers used by Expo and React Native for crash reporting and app analytics (e.g. anonymous device ID).
- App usage data: Which features you use (song search, mood, playlist), error logs, and performance data. This data is aggregated and not linked to your identity.
1.3 Information we do NOT collect
Recent searches are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers. We do not collect your location.
2 How We Use Your Information

3 Third-Party Services

Regarding audio previews: 30-second song previews are streamed directly from Apple's servers. Attune does not host or store any audio content.
4 Data Retention
- Search queries: Not stored server-side. Processed in real-time and discarded.
- Recent searches: Stored locally on your device. Cleared when you uninstall the App or manually clear app data.
- Logs: Server-side error logs (no PII) retained for up to 30 days.
5 Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request deletion of your data, or object to how we process your data.
Since we collect minimal data and do not store personally identifying information server-side, most requests can be satisfied by simply uninstalling the App (which clears all local data). For other requests, contact us at the address below.
California users (CCPA): We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6 Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
